We encourage our students to socialize outside regular class sessions and we will help organize those activities. However we do not host or organize them.

Catherine is a native Parisian, graduate of Sorbonne University in Paris, Director of the French school Vive la France, French teacher at University of Utah, French language coach for the Utah Opera, and Former Alliance Francaise Language Director.

SUGGESTED ACTIVITIES:
FRENCH MOVIE NIGHTS:  French movies at local theaters and French DVD's at students' homes

STUDENT DINNERS & LUNCHES: Our students get together in small groups of 5 to 10 people and go to lunch or dinner and speak French to each other.

CHRISTMAS FRENCH DINNERS: Sometimes our students host Christmas dinners which are "big" affairs, with 50 or more people attending.

BASTILLE DAY: The French "Independence Day" which is similar to our American "4th of July."
