This is an account of my mother's association with the renowned French high fashion designer, Pierre Balmain. It is a work in progress and will change from time to time as I find photographs and add events. There is a mixture of the trivial and profound which will sometimes flow in chronological order and sometimes not. Some important events or people may not be included because I am still looking for photos and sorting memories. But I think it may be an enjoyable journey nonetheless.
